1. Agreement to These Terms
By using TripsBali.com, submitting an enquiry, requesting a brochure, making a booking, or participating in a service arranged through Trips Bali, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to any product-specific conditions clearly disclosed before booking.
If you make a booking on behalf of other travellers, you are responsible for ensuring that all participants are aware of and accept the relevant booking conditions, activity requirements and safety information.
2. Trips Bali and Third-Party Service Providers
Trips Bali may act as a direct provider for certain services and may also arrange or facilitate services supplied by independent activity operators, transport providers, guides, attractions, booking systems or other travel suppliers.
Where a third-party supplier provides the underlying activity or service, that supplier may apply additional operational, safety, cancellation or participation conditions. Trips Bali will present or communicate relevant conditions where reasonably available.
3. Booking and Confirmation
- A booking is not considered confirmed until the required booking information has been received and confirmation has been issued through the applicable booking channel.
- Availability shown or discussed before confirmation may change.
- Customers must provide accurate names, contact details, dates, guest numbers, pickup information and other details required for the service.
- Customers are responsible for checking the booking confirmation and promptly reporting material errors.
4. Prices and Payments
Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the relevant product page or booking channel. Unless stated otherwise, prices apply to the service and guest type specified on that page.
- Promotional or discounted prices may be subject to availability or specific booking conditions.
- Additional charges may apply for services not included in the published package, such as certain transfers, optional extras, entrance fees or upgrades where clearly disclosed.
- Payments may be processed by an independent booking or payment provider. That provider's transaction, security and payment terms may also apply.
- Customers are responsible for any bank, card, foreign-exchange or payment-provider charges imposed by their own financial institution or payment service.
5. Cancellation, Amendment and Refunds
Cancellation and amendment conditions may vary by product, activity operator, booking channel, date or package. The applicable cancellation terms shown on the product page, booking confirmation or payment channel form part of the booking conditions.
- Requests to cancel or change a booking should be submitted as early as possible through the contact channel used for the booking.
- A refund is not guaranteed merely because a customer chooses not to attend, arrives late, cannot be contacted, or provides incorrect booking information.
- If a supplier-approved refund is due, processing time may depend on the payment provider, bank or booking platform.
- Non-refundable components, third-party fees or already-incurred costs may be excluded from a refund where permitted and clearly applicable.
6. No-Shows and Late Arrival
Customers must be ready at the agreed meeting point or pickup location at the confirmed time. Late arrival may reduce the available activity time or result in the service being treated as a no-show if the operator cannot reasonably delay the activity or other guests.
7. Pickup, Transfers and Meeting Points
Where pickup or transport is included or offered, the exact time may vary because of traffic, location, weather, road conditions or operational routing.
- Customers must provide an accurate hotel, villa or meeting-point location.
- Some areas may require an additional transfer charge or a designated meeting point.
- Pickup time is not necessarily the activity start time.
- Trips Bali is not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate location information supplied by the customer.
8. Changes to Itinerary or Service
Tour routes, schedules, activity sequences, vehicles, guides, facilities or operating locations may be adjusted where reasonably necessary because of weather, traffic, safety, local conditions, supplier operations, ceremonies, road closures, natural events or circumstances outside reasonable control.
Where a material service becomes unavailable, Trips Bali or the relevant supplier may offer a reasonable alternative, reschedule the service or provide another remedy appropriate to the circumstances and applicable booking conditions.
9. Weather and Force Majeure
Outdoor and adventure activities are affected by weather and local conditions. Rain alone does not necessarily mean an activity will be cancelled.
Trips Bali and service providers may suspend, modify, postpone or cancel an activity where conditions are considered unsafe or where performance is prevented by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, government action, road closure, civil disturbance, public-health restrictions or comparable events.
10. Adventure Activities, Safety and Risk
ATV riding, rafting, tubing, cycling, hiking, watersports, buggy activities and other adventure experiences involve inherent risks. Participants must follow safety briefings, instructions, age or height requirements, equipment rules and directions from guides or activity staff.
- Participants must use required safety equipment correctly.
- Reckless, dangerous or intoxicated participation may be refused or stopped.
- Customers should disclose relevant conditions that may affect safe participation where reasonably necessary.
- The operator may refuse participation where a person is considered unable to participate safely.
11. Health, Fitness, Age and Pregnancy
Customers are responsible for reviewing the suitability requirements of the selected experience. Certain activities may not be suitable for people with particular medical conditions, recent injuries, mobility limitations or pregnancy.
Minimum or maximum ages, height requirements and other participation limits shown on a product page or communicated by the operator form part of the activity conditions.
12. Children and Minors
A parent, guardian or responsible adult must make or approve bookings for minors where required. Children must comply with the age, height, equipment and supervision rules of the relevant activity.
13. Insurance
Where an experience states that local activity insurance is included, the insurance is subject to the insurer's terms, exclusions, limits and eligibility requirements. Customers are strongly encouraged to maintain their own comprehensive travel insurance appropriate to their itinerary and planned activities.
14. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate booking and contact information.
- Arriving on time and following meeting-point instructions.
- Following safety rules and reasonable instructions.
- Respecting local customs, property, staff, guides and other participants.
- Taking reasonable care of personal belongings.
- Ensuring they possess any travel documents, permissions or personal insurance relevant to their trip.
15. Personal Belongings
Customers should secure valuables and follow storage instructions provided by the operator. Trips Bali is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Photos, Videos and Media
Some operators may offer photography or video services. Unless expressly included in the booked package, such services may be optional and subject to separate pricing or terms.
Trips Bali will not intentionally use identifiable customer media for promotional purposes where consent is required without an appropriate basis or permission.
17. Website Information
Trips Bali aims to keep product descriptions, prices, inclusions and operational information accurate. However, supplier details and local conditions may change. Obvious typographical, technical or pricing errors may be corrected.
Where there is a material difference between general website information and a specific confirmed booking, the terms expressly stated in the booking confirmation and applicable product conditions should be reviewed first.
18. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
Subject to that limitation, Trips Bali is not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, by a customer's failure to follow instructions, or by independent acts of third parties that Trips Bali could not reasonably prevent.
19. Complaints and Problem Resolution
If a problem occurs during a service, customers should notify Trips Bali or the relevant operator as soon as reasonably possible so that an opportunity is available to address the issue while the service is taking place.
Post-service complaints should include the booking reference, activity date, customer name and a clear description of the issue.
20. Consumer Rights and Applicable Law
These Terms & Conditions are intended to operate consistently with applicable Indonesian law, including consumer-protection and tourism requirements. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove mandatory consumer rights that apply by law.
Any dispute should first be addressed in good faith through direct communication. If it cannot be resolved informally, the parties may pursue the dispute through the mechanisms available under applicable Indonesian law.
21. Privacy
Personal information associated with enquiries and bookings is handled in accordance with the Trips Bali Privacy Policy.
